The Appalachian State University Renewable Energy Initiative is hosting its annual Fall Forum November 11th at 6:00pm at the Solarium in the Student Union. Guest speaker Rory McIlmoil, Appalachian Voice’s Energy Policy Director, will trace back where our energy really comes from and the importance of renewable energy in the High Country. Participants will receive free CFL light bulbs and enjoy free Earth Fare pizza while discussing critical energy topics with one of the top energy policy analyst in the south east. Students, faculty and the Boone Community are encouraged to come out and learn about renewable energy and efficiency in Appalachia. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with Rory as well as jump on a stationary bike and see who can light a light bulb the fastest.
