Black Banjo Roots Concert

Join in a night of celebration of folk music and history featuring musical guests: Mike Craver and Jim Watson, original members of the Red Clay Ramblers, Wayne Henderson, famed luthier guitar player, and Hubby Jenkins, of the Grammy Award winning Carolina Chocolate Drops (Their song Daughters Lament is featured on the Hungar games soundtrack).

Campus Tours

Learn what its like to be an Appalachian student—both in and outside the classroom. The two-hour campus visit includes a presentation, a discussion of admission criteria, a walking campus tour by a student ambassador and opportunities to meet with university representatives. Campus tours are available throughout the year except for holidays and university breaks.
